Set up safely

  1. Open CurrencyCraft in Shopify Admin and use its setup guide to check the store's actual currency mode.
  2. In display-only Mode B, configure enabled currencies and notices. The notice must tell shoppers the currency charged at checkout.
  3. For Mode B, use the theme editor on a duplicate/draft theme, enable the app embed and add the currency switcher block where supported. Save, preview products and cart, then verify native Shopify checkout.
  4. In native Markets mode, use your theme's own country selector. CurrencyCraft's converter and picker stay off. Verify that the actual cart and checkout use the expected Shopify currency.

Follow the detailed setup guide. Currency-format settings are store-wide, even when previewing a draft theme; capture their original values before a controlled development-store test. If the mode is unknown, finish detection before activating conversion.

When reporting a problem

Send your store domain, the affected page, the chosen currency/mode, expected and actual behavior, and a screenshot with personal details removed. Never send passwords, access tokens, full customer exports or payment information.

Privacy, deletion and uninstall

Use Privacy for data handling and requests. Removing the app through Shopify Admin revokes access; authenticated uninstall/shop-redaction deliveries delete its store-owned app records and sessions. A new installation starts new configuration. Shopify-held orders and payments are not deleted by CurrencyCraft.

Optional storefront analytics are off by default and are not required for currency switching. This prepared release makes no order-revenue analytics claim. View Terms for service boundaries.
